Nadja Mosimann is a senior research assistant at the University of Zürich as well as a post-doctoral researcher for Unequal Democracies. Nadja spent 2015-16 as a visiting PhD student at Nuffield College, Oxford. Defended in December, 2017, her PhD thesis was entitled “Solidarity in Times of Inequality: Trade Union Politics and Union Membership Effects.” For Unequal Democracies, Nadja continues her work on the effects of union membership on political knowledge, preferences and participation, relying on our original cross-national survey as well as existing cross-national and national surveys.
