Jan Szulkin is a PhD candidate at the Department of Government at Uppsala University. His PhD project investigates the political effects of rising income inequality, with a focus on political participation in Sweden. He mainly uses quantitative methods on administrative register data, which includes information about individual-level turnout and political candidacy.
